September 28th – Lakes Comics International Arts Festival
Kate Evans appears at Bowness-on-Windemere, speaking about the her unique research methodology in creating her graphic biographies, and displaying the quilt she has embroidered of Austen's life. Tickets

Lunchtime informal signing at Devon's best comics shop. No tickets required – just turn up.
October 14th – Five Leaves Bookshop, Nottingham
Evans gives another inimitable Austen lecture at Nottinham's best bookshop. We are promised "Beer, wine, cordials, possets, punch, spirit waters" or at very least "fruit juice." Regency dress will be admired but not required. Tickets
October 23rd – East Gate bookshop, Totnes – with George Monbiot

October 28th – OFFICIAL LAUNCH – The Cartoon Museum, Soho
The official launch of Patchwork: a graphic biography of Jane Austen at the Cartoon Museum. Kate Evans in conversation with Dr Nicola Streeten of LDC Comics. Put on your best Regency glad rags, if you have any. There will be bubbles. Tickets
